Halas is a Bible-based business program associated with Tarkio Technology Institute in Tarkio, Missouri, and is designed to give students the tools they need in business and in life. At Halas, students have access to instructors with proven track records of success in the corporate and private business world. These instructors will also act as mentors to help with each student's personal business endeavor.
We use the Bible as a reference guide because its principles are behind every good business practice. Knowing this encourages leaders to leverage the Bible's wisdom and guidance for greater positive impact and legacy in the world.
Our goal is to combine Biblical principles, guidance and mandates with widely-accepted business practices to equip and encourage entrapreneurship and existing business growth (intrapreneurship). This will be done through in-person and online classroom instruction, practical application and supervised internships in pursuit of the program's vision.
To improve and expand reputation among public, business and educational entities for equipping, encouraging and supporting new business startups and existing business growth. We hope this reputation for success will support various revenue sources to enable the Halas Business Program to become financially self-supporting.
To recruit and retain students who embrace our overall purpose and to further monitor and advise students after graduation via coaching and mentoring to guide them to success in their business endeavors.
Halas is one of the only business programs that effectively combines these areas for business success:
